Mission & Evangelism Opportunities
Katy Park is a church on mission!
We encourage every member to find a ministry that channels their passion for others. Whether it is serving in the Community Cafe, helping the local domestic abuse shelter, or going on mission trips in the U.S. or abroad, there is a place for everyone to plug in.
Come and see what all the excitement is about at the monthly missions team meeting on the third Sunday night of each month beginning at 5 p.m.

    TAG -- You're It!

Parents, youth workers and youth are welcome to meet and discuss all things concerning the Your Ministry.  Our meetings are open to those desiring to seek the Lord's direction for the youth of this fellowship.  The youth program here does not exist to just give you more things to do, but to lead, train, and equip this up and coming generation in their walk with Jesus Christ.  Come and help us plan.  Check out this website and/or the church calendar for upcoming meeting dates.

Children in Action is a coed group designed for boys and girls to come to faith in Christ as Savior while making missions an important part of their daily lives. They learn what it means to live a missional lifestyle while they participate in Bible study, missions projects and engaging activities. They also have a lot of fun as they “travel” to various places around the world when they learn about and pray for the work of missionaries.

The Children in Action motto is “Send Me!” and CAs do just that — they are sent to serve others and practice what they’re learning through hands-on missions opportunities. Their experiences lead to a lifelong commitment to Christ, His mission and His church.

The weekly meetings are held each Wednesday evening at the church from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. for children Grades 1 through 5.

  • Show Your Support!

Project Parachute volunteers are praying for our men and women of the Armed Forces of the USA who are now in harm's way in Afghanistan, Korea, Iraq and other parts of the world.  We thank them and their families for their sacrifices.  If you have a friend or family member currently deployed overseas and would like to add them to our mailing list to receive gift boxes or personal notes, cards, homemade cookies and encouragement of various types every month and on holidays, please call 660-826-2070.  Join military spouses and family members for a time of sharing, prayer and other activities to show your concern for our military personnel.  This group meets the third Thursday of every month at 6:00 p.m., at the Harmony Baptist Association office (1950 Hwy TT, Sedalia).
